Paulina ARAŚNIEWICZ – Soprano
Graduated with honors diploma from the Music Academy in Gdańsk, where she studied voice with dr Krzysztof Bobrzecki. She was a laureate at Viva Calisia 2021 Singing Competition (Ist Distinction and a Special Prize).
She made her debut as Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas (produced by the Music Academy in Gdańsk and directed by Dariusz Paradowski, with conducting by Przemysław Stanisławski). She has sung solo part in oratorios and cantatas (Bach’s Am Abend aber desselbigen Sabbats, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Rossini’s Petite messe solenelle, Palmeri’s Misa tango), the part of Kurfürstin Marie in Carl Zeller’s Der Vogelhändler (a Gdańsk Music Academy production directed by Dariusz Paradowski, with conducting by Sylwia Janiak-Kobylińska) and the part of Ilia in Mozart’s Idomeneo in Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv (IMVAJ 2019 opera project, directed by Michael Sturm, with music direction by Etay Berckovitch).
She has performed with the Polish Chamber Philharmonic in Sopot, the Gdynia Symphony Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of the Music Academy in Gdańsk, the Polish Chamber Choir Schola Cantorum Gedanensis, and the Symphony Orchestra in Beersheba in Israel.
She has participated in master class given by Ewa Iżykowska-Lipińska, and has completed the 37th Winter Vocal Course in Duszniki-Zdrój given by Izabela Kłosińska. Paulina was taught by Tamar Rahun. She has also participated in master class given by Adi Bar (course in the interpretation of German’s songs). She twice received an award from the Rector of her alma mater for her academic achievements and performer in the 2018/2019 Top Graduates Concert. Currently, Paulina cooperates with Cappella Gedanensis, performing solo and choral parts.
